Preferred format: Transparent PNG.
We also accept SVG, AI, PDF, PSD, TIFF, JPG/JPEG, and WEBP—provided the file is high-resolution and print-ready.
For the best print quality, we recommend uploading artwork at 300 DPI at the actual size you want it printed. Low-resolution images, social media downloads, or screenshots may print blurry or pixelated.
Yes, a transparent background is required unless you want the background color/box to be printed on your garment. Any unwanted white or colored backgrounds in your file will print exactly as submitted.
It is best to avoid low-opacity, semi-transparent, or partially erased areas unless specifically prepared for DTF. Because DTF printing uses a solid white underbase ink, semi-transparent edges may show an unwanted white outline or glow.
We perform a basic production review, but we do not automatically proofread, resize, edit, remove backgrounds, or color-correct files. Artwork is printed as submitted by the customer.
Yes! Background removal and artwork cleanup services are available for an additional charge. Please contact Brick City DTF before placing your order to request artwork editing.
